How BeautyJar
Verifies Providers

BeautyJar is a verification-first provider network designed to help patients identify qualified professionals in women's health, medical weight management, hormone care, and aesthetic medicine.

I

License Integrity

We confirm that every provider holds a valid, active professional license appropriate to the services they offer, including review of publicly available disciplinary records.

II

Identity Confirmation

We verify that the individual presenting as the provider is the actual holder of the credentials being represented — particularly important in medical director models.

III

Practice Legitimacy

We evaluate whether the practice itself is operating as represented, including confirmation of business presence and alignment between services offered and credentials held.

Verification
Includes

Our process focuses on confirming professional standing and practice legitimacy so that patients can make informed decisions when selecting care.

Active Professional License Verification
Confirmed against primary licensing authority sources for each jurisdiction.
Identity Confirmation
The individual and the credential are matched independently of self-report.
Practice Legitimacy Review
Business presence and services are assessed against the scope of credentials held.
Ongoing Monitoring & Annual Review
Verified status is actively maintained, not granted once and forgotten.
BeautyJar Verified Active

Verification is an Active Status

The BeautyJar Verified badge is not a one-time credential. All verified providers are subject to a twelve-month review cycle from initial verification. If a provider's license lapses or disciplinary proceedings begin, verified status is suspended immediately — without waiting for the next scheduled cycle.

Material changes to a provider's practice may also trigger an unscheduled reassessment. Patient-reported concerns are reviewed through a structured process.

N

Important Note

BeautyJar verification confirms that a provider meets baseline professional and operational standards at the time of review. Verification does not constitute a guarantee of clinical outcomes or quality of care, a clinical referral or recommendation, or a substitute for the exercise of your own informed judgment when selecting a provider.

Public Verification
Framework

BeautyJar's verification methodology is documented as a versioned public framework, published on Zenodo and OSF, to support transparency and accountability. The framework describes the principles and structural approach that govern our verification process.
