About this policy
BeautyJar is a provider-discovery and educational platform for medical aesthetics. BeautyJar is operated by Wenley Technologies LLC.
This Privacy Policy explains the information we may collect when you use BeautyJar, apply for or maintain a provider profile, contact us, or purchase a provider membership, and how we use and protect that information.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use BeautyJar, we may collect:
- Information you provide to us, such as your name, email address, message, provider application details, professional credentials, practice information, photos, social links and other profile content.
- Provider credential information, including license or registration details supplied by a provider and information available through public professional licensing or registration sources.
- Membership and transaction information, such as membership level, payment status, transaction date and billing-related records.
- Technical and usage information, such as browser type, device information, IP address, referring pages and general site activity collected through hosting, security, analytics or similar technologies.
How we use information
- operate, maintain and improve BeautyJar;
- review provider applications and prepare provider profiles;
- perform BeautyJar’s limited Credential Check process;
- communicate with visitors, applicants and providers;
- administer provider memberships and payments;
- understand site performance and use;
- protect the security and integrity of BeautyJar; and
- comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.
Provider profiles and public information
Provider profiles are designed to be public. Information approved for a provider profile may include the provider’s name, credentials, specialty, biography, treatments, practice information, location, photographs, website, social media links, booking links and Credential Check information.
Providers should submit only information they have the right to publish.
Credential Check
Providers submit professional credential information to BeautyJar. We may compare selected credential information against publicly available licensing or registration sources before publication.
Credential Check is limited in scope. It is not an endorsement of a provider and is not an assessment of treatment quality, competence, outcomes or suitability for any particular person.
Payments
Provider membership payments may be processed by a third-party payment processor, such as Stripe. Payment processors handle payment-card information under their own privacy and security practices. BeautyJar may receive transaction details such as payment status, amount, date and account identifiers, but does not need to receive your full payment-card number to administer a membership.
Cookies, analytics and similar technologies
BeautyJar and its service providers may use cookies, logs and similar technologies for basic site operation, security, performance measurement and analytics. These technologies may collect technical information about your browser, device and activity on the site.

How information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that help us operate BeautyJar, including hosting, website infrastructure, analytics, communications, security and payment-processing providers. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, prevent misuse, or respond to lawful requests.
We do not treat a provider’s published profile information as private once it has been approved for publication.
External websites and provider practices
BeautyJar may link to provider websites, booking platforms, social media accounts, professional licensing databases and other third-party resources. Their privacy practices are separate from ours.
When you leave BeautyJar and communicate directly with a provider or practice, information you provide to that provider is governed by the provider’s own privacy practices and applicable law.
Health information and HIPAA
BeautyJar is a discovery and information platform, not a healthcare provider or health plan. The presence of health-related content on BeautyJar does not by itself make BeautyJar a HIPAA-covered entity.
Visitors should not use BeautyJar to transmit medical records, diagnoses, insurance information or other information intended for a healthcare provider’s patient record.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including operating BeautyJar, maintaining business and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information we maintain. No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided to BeautyJar, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate. Providers may also contact us regarding information displayed on their profiles.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests, and some information may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.
Children
BeautyJar is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children through the platform.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as BeautyJar changes. The effective date at the top of the page will show when the policy was last updated. Material changes may also be communicated in another reasonable manner when appropriate.
