About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of BeautyJar, a provider-discovery and educational platform for medical aesthetics. BeautyJar is operated by Wenley Technologies LLC.
By using BeautyJar, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
What BeautyJar does
BeautyJar helps visitors discover providers, explore professional profiles, research treatments and connect with independent practices. BeautyJar also publishes educational and editorial content related to medical aesthetics.
BeautyJar is not a healthcare provider, medical practice, patient portal, pharmacy, insurer or emergency service. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment or make treatment decisions for visitors.
Provider relationships
Providers and practices appearing on BeautyJar are independent from BeautyJar and Wenley Technologies LLC. A provider’s inclusion on BeautyJar does not create an employment, agency, partnership or clinical relationship between BeautyJar and that provider.
Any consultation, treatment, booking, payment for clinical services or other relationship you enter into with a provider is directly between you and that provider or practice.
Credential Check
Providers submit professional credential information to BeautyJar. We may compare selected credential information against publicly available licensing or registration sources before publication.
A Credential Check reflects only the information checked against the identified source at the time of the check. It is not an endorsement, guarantee, recommendation or assessment of a provider’s competence, treatment quality, outcomes, disciplinary history or suitability for you.
You remain responsible for deciding whether a provider is appropriate for your needs and may consult the relevant licensing or registration authority for current information.
Educational and editorial content
BeautyJar content is provided for general informational and educational purposes. It is not medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for individualized advice, diagnosis or treatment from a qualified healthcare professional.
Medical and aesthetic treatments involve individual considerations, risks and potential outcomes. Information may change as evidence, products, techniques, regulations and professional guidance evolve.
Provider profile information
Providers are responsible for the accuracy of information they submit for publication, including credentials, specialties, treatment offerings, biographies, practice information, photographs, links and other materials.
BeautyJar may edit submitted material for formatting, clarity, consistency or presentation. We may correct, remove, decline or request support for information that appears inaccurate, misleading, outdated, inappropriate or inconsistent with BeautyJar standards.
Third-party websites and services
BeautyJar may link to provider websites, booking platforms, social media accounts, licensing databases, payment services and other third-party resources. Those services are operated independently and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
BeautyJar is not responsible for the availability, content, security, services or practices of third-party websites.
Acceptable use
You may use BeautyJar for lawful personal or professional purposes consistent with the platform’s intended use. You may not:
- use BeautyJar to violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- submit false, misleading, fraudulent or unauthorized information;
- attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the platform;
- use automated means to scrape, harvest or systematically copy BeautyJar content without permission;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a provider or practice; or
- copy, republish or commercially exploit BeautyJar content except as permitted by law or with written permission.
Intellectual property
BeautyJar’s site design, branding, original text, editorial content, graphics and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Wenley Technologies LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Providers retain rights they hold in materials they submit. By submitting content for a BeautyJar profile, providers grant BeautyJar the permission necessary to host, display, format and promote that content in connection with the platform and their BeautyJar presence. Additional provider-specific terms are addressed in the Provider Terms.
Provider memberships
Paid provider memberships are offered under the pricing and features shown at the time of enrollment. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, monthly memberships renew on a recurring monthly basis until canceled.
Before enrollment, the applicable price, billing frequency and material membership terms will be presented to the provider. Cancellation stops future renewals; access and profile benefits may continue through the end of the period already paid for, unless otherwise stated or required by law.
Provider memberships are also subject to the Provider Terms. If there is a conflict regarding a provider membership, the Provider Terms control for that issue.
No guarantee of results
BeautyJar does not guarantee that use of the platform or purchase of a provider membership will produce a particular number of profile views, inquiries, bookings, patients, revenue, search ranking or other business result.
Availability and changes
We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue features of BeautyJar as the platform develops. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the site.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, BeautyJar is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not make warranties about the completeness, accuracy, reliability or availability of the platform or its content beyond obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Wenley Technologies LLC and BeautyJar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of BeautyJar, reliance on its content, interactions with independent providers, or use of third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses or expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of BeautyJar, your violation of these Terms, or content you submit in violation of another person’s rights.
Termination
We may restrict or terminate access to BeautyJar when reasonably necessary to protect the platform, enforce these Terms, address unlawful or abusive activity, or comply with legal obligations.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as BeautyJar changes. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest version. Continued use of BeautyJar after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
